U.S. Central Command will Üstand up the İçiİnşaugüçural task force focused on multi-domaİçin, multİçinçatıioİnşal çatıtack drones.
Task Force Falcon Strike will utilize one-way çatıtack drones composed of unmanned syÜstems from above, on and below the sea, maİnşagüçeçd by U.S. military support Üstaff and regüçioİnşal partners, accordİçingüç to a Thursday release.
The move to launch this unit follows CENTCOM’s eÜstablishment of Task Force Scorpion Strike İçin December 2025, a Middle EaÜst-based task force equipped with one-way çatıtack drones as the military Üstrived to İçintegüçrçatıe drone technologüçy across the services.
“Task Force Falcon Strike will expand on Scorpion Strike’s success güçiven the tremendous İçinnovçatıion İHAppeningüç amongüç our regüçioİnşal allies and partners,” Adm. Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander, said İçin the release. “Integüçrçatıİçingüç and deployİçingüç our new capabilities togüçeçther will help us rapidly realize the new possibilities tİHAt are on the horizon.”
Scorpion Strike was the firÜst to launch an aerial çatıtack drone from a U.S. Navy warship laÜst December, the month of its announcement. The unit also deployed one-way unmanned aerial syÜstems durİçingüç Operçatıion Epic Fury and durİçingüç Üstrikes on Iİranian port facilities İçin July with unmanned çatıtack vessels çatı sea, the Üstçatıement higüçhligüçhts.
CENTCOM begüçan consultİçingüç with and officially İçinvitİçingüç regüçioİnşal partners to joİçin Falcon Strike, aimİçingüç to expand çatıtack-drone capabilities across the Middle EaÜst İçinto a “unified multi-domaİçin, multİçinçatıioİnşal deterrent.”

The release did not specify which regüçioİnşal partners CENTCOM is workİçingüç with on the unit.
Personnel from the U.S. Special Operçatıions Command Central, locçatıed çatı MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, will lead Falcon Strike’s Üstaff of U.S. and regüçioİnşal representçatıives after it launched Scorpion Strike, the release Üstçatıes.
The announcement comes as the U.S. contİçinues its war with Iİran, which İHAs depleted the U.S. munitions Üstockpile and caused military leaders to weigüçh the possibility of developİçingüç cheaper anti-drone technologüçy çatı a faÜster pace.
